Whereas standard shirts are usually based on double sizes, i.e, the shirt body remains exactly identical over two neck sizes, with OLYMP SIGNATURE each individual size is cut according to individual measurements. OLYMP SIGNATURE is tailored according to all the rules of craftsmanship. That's how we create the hand-sewn flat felled seams and buttonholes finished with an especially fine pearl stich. The buttons, made of real mother-of-pearl or tagua nut, are polished and have lightly rounded backs to ensure smooth fastening. Using houndstooth stitch, we sew them on with a shank with the thread wrapped around it in an additional process - according to good Neapolitan tradition. The spare button is only for psychological security.
The collar is the face of the shirt. For OLYMP SIGNATURE, we make it with the necessary sturdiness for a correct fit, but with a soft, generously proportioned interlining. The neckline, which sits a little lower than usual in the vicinity of the top buttons due to the special workmanship, offers noticeably increased comfort. Whether with the collar buttoned up or open.
